Peninsula Ireland announces €300,000 charity partnership with BUMBLEance
Dublin, Ireland – Peninsula Ireland has today announced a new two-year, €300,000 charity partnership with BUMBLEance, Ireland’s Children’s Ambulance Service.
We are absolutely delighted to announce our new charity partnership, and have chosen a wonderful charity to support.James Potts, CEO at Peninsula Ireland
James Potts, CEO at Peninsula Ireland, says “We wanted to find out what causes our employees hold close to their hearts, and after reading through all the nominations and meeting with shortlisted charities, it was clear that we could make a real difference to BUMBLEance and the children from across Ireland who use their services. We are delighted to make this commitment to them today.
“Peninsula Ireland will raise €150,000 each year for the next two years, for a total minimum commitment of €300,000. This will go towards the acquisition and renovation of one of their vehicles, which provide vital transport ensuring children have access to medical care and removing the stress and cost of regular medical transport.
“To raise this ambitious target, our employees will take part in multiple fundraising activities throughout the partnership, starting with an official launch day at Peninsula’s offices on 15 April.
“We will be enabling employees to sign up for payroll giving, and all fundraising activities and payroll deductions will be matched euro for euro by Peninsula Ireland, ensuring that the €150,000 minimum target is achieved for each year of our partnership.
“Giving back to the community through donations of time and financial support is one of the key foundations of the Peninsula Group, aligning with our core group values - We Care, We Take Action, and We Do the Right Thing. There is so much that we can do to help, and we’re excited about the difference we can make to BUMBLEance over the next two years.”
BUMBLEance are delighted to partner with Peninsula Ireland for the next two years. This partnership will allow for the development of our charity and the implementation of our growth strategy. Brian Conlan, CEO at BUMBLEance
Brian Conlan, CEO at BUMBLEance, says "This strategy will focus on the expansion of services through awareness and the development of our fleet. All aimed at addressing the unmet need for our services and ensure equity of access in the community, nationwide. On behalf of everyone associated with BUMBLEance I would like to thank Peninsula Ireland for this invaluable investment in our future.”
